Hey guys, did any of you receive a correspondence letter (AOR) for your PR card application right after getting GU1?

Hi guys. what does GU1 mean? Does it mean the pr card application is approved and the photo has been accepted and now it has been sent for printing? can a photo be rejected after getting GU1?

When you had initially uploaded photos, did you get any warning (such as, photos too bright or too dark and/or pixel size not correct)?

Hey folks, an update for you. I called IRCC today and asked about my pr card. Ecopr on Aug 17 and it’s been 36 days. the agent said that processing time for the initial pr card is actually 55 days. Just thought would share this with you guys.

Hi folks, anybody here who had the “Warning: Picture may be too bright or too dark” message when you guys had uploaded your picture? Did your photos get approved? i had this warning and it’s been almost a month since I received my ecopr and no update on the pr card yet.

I think we’ll be waiting a while. I predict mid October is when we should receive our pr cards.

The Pr portal can be inaccurate. As per another online forum I’m following, people have received their pr card and the status on the pr portal still shows as “in review”. I suggest you link your pr card application to your gckey account for accurate updates.

Does your GCKEY also read final decision as “approved” . My GCKEY also has “your eligibility was reviewed on August 17th 2023 and a final decision has been made”. is yours the same?

So something weird is going on: portal 1: July24 Portal 2: Aug 15 ECOPR: still waiting logged into my ircc gckey account and a new update was posted today. My decision changed from “final decision: July 20, 2023 we’ll send you a message” to “your application was approved”. I don’t have ecopr...
