Mine got delivered at Chandigarh on Monday(March 8), no updates since.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have heard Permanent residents being asked to retake in case medicals are expired before landing in Canada. For student it's fine I guess? We will call up/email them just to be on the safer side of things

Will they check in their system to see if the student has valid medicals?

@Ironclad Can you please help out my friend here? Her medicals are expired but she already has PPR. Will they ask for a medical re-do?

I am also an August 2020 applicant still waiting for an approval. Can you let me know when the review of eligibility started in GCKey?

Not sure how common. But this is what happened to me. Upfront done on Feb 2020. Passed in GCKey on Jan 20, 2021. Status reset to “you dont need medical..” around Feb 15, 2021. Re do request Feb 16, 2021 Did medical Feb 18, 2021 Medical passed Second time Feb 19, 2021

If your current medical status reset and your results are expired, just wait till they send you an IMM1017 E form to re take it.

The same thing happened to me. My medicals had expired and as a result they reset the status to " you do not need medical exam". I have also seen a few cases where they reset it even when the medical is active. And they pass it for the second time. Weird stuff.

It was within a day for me since the disappearance.

The same thing happened with @abhi.gannamaneni, his medicals disappeared even though it was passed and valid. He got another ghost update that it passed on Feb 16th or something. So don't worry. I am guessing it's a glitch.

For anyone stumbling onto this thread. I got an update. I was told it was because my validity was up. It is valid for only one year. I got a request to retake it.

Thanks for the reply. Is it advisable to wait for the new request or take one upfront? I have heard that taking medicals with the document they provide will be faster than upfront.
