It normally takes around a month I think.. We requested GCMS notes and it took that long. And yeah for my sister's file also they requested her daughter's valid passport last month as it was expired but after that nothing. My sister's Medicals will expire in August so we are also waiting badly...

Any updates for anyone, its been a while not hearing anything from anyone.. Seems everything is so quite there :(...

I would say request GCMS notes and also send an enquiry to IRCC.. Its taking forever for everyone but they should at least tell what's happening. My sister is also from March 2021, and still waiting..

Hi, did your letter says anything else other than submitting passports.. How does PPR Letter looks like? For my sister's file they have requested to provide her daughter's passport copy as previous one is expired, nothing more than this.. Kindly update. Thanks

Criminality and Medicals are passed, they says Eligibility and Background checks in progress.. SO wait for Officer, but that wait is never ending..

Yes we did requested GCMS notes and it also says Recommended ;Passed.. Eligibility and background checks in progress but how long it will take that's not clear. It so pathetic..

Nothing even through MP as IRCC just sent same updates to MP office whatever they always gives us 'Background' and 'Eligibility' in progress. So nothing new.. And MP Office said there is no way that they can request for speeding up the process, so nothing just wait..... I am so frustrated don't...

' I think if IRCC requires Medicals to be renewed they will update you as in some cases they give extensions for Medicals. But lets wait and see what you hear from them. Also when you applied in 2021? All the best.

So many Congratulations.. We are also in the same boat.. My sister passed her Medicals in August 2023 and in Nov they requested additional PC for her husband , we sent and since then no updates.. I have also requested our area MP to look into this, so hoping to get some updates soon.. So when...
