Thanks for this, I had the same problem, and realized I had 2 emails.. when I tried the second one I was able to access the confirmation tab and finalize my claim.

ok, so I've received my second email.. it says to log into my PR Portal, and then under the category tab select "Confirmation of Permanent Residence" Problem is that option isn't available under the tab.. Anyone else has this issue? I'm going to call them on Monday morning.

I paid for my biometrics to be done back in October 2023, and I just got my official request to do them yesterday.. sometimes it just takes time..

No its not, many people never get an AOR, or maybe they get it right at the end of the process, which is what I mean when I say its not important.. People come on here freaking out because they don't have one yet.. so long as your paperwork was correct you should be fine..

The AOR doesn't really mean anything, assuming your paperwork was filled out correctly and it has been received just wait for them to move forward..

It can take a while, assuming they received the documents, the documents were filled out correctly and you're in the pool they're selecting from, you should be ok.. Only thing you can do is wait.. give it a couple of weeks and then give them a call..
