PR renewal and J1 visa

I am On J1 visa in USA for 5 and half year with  cnadian citizen spouse,got divorced in 2007.Now my PR card expires in june 2008.What are my chances of getting renewal.Thanks in advance.

1.  Since you are no longer accompanying a Canadian citizen spouse, and you can't apply for an extension in the US, not good.  To maintain your Pr status, you will have to count the time that you and your spouse separated and see if you have enough time remaining to return to Canada and maintain your PR status of 2  years in every 5
