My brother PGWP is expiring. Initially he only got one and half year of PGWP due to his passport expiring May 2024.
My question is, we’re a bit confused on if he should apply for an extension on his PGWP, or an open work permit. While doing my research, I find that a lot of things have changed compared to when I was still a temporary resident. Back then, when your PGWP expires, you apply for an OWP. It was very straightforward compared to now.
I would appreciate any advice on what we should do.
