My work permit, issued in February 2024, includes the stipulation: “UNLESS AUTHORIZED, PROHIBITED FROM ATTENDING ANY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION, OR TAKING ANY ACADEMIC, PROFESSIONAL OR VOCATIONAL TRAINING COURSE.”
I have recently come course that aligns closely with my professional development goals which can be completed within 6 months. I have researched online regarding the 6 months course but couldn’t find clarification. However, I wanted to seek clarification on whether it would be possible to seek authorization for this specific course, given its duration of six months. I have consulted with the DLI listed college and they don’t need study permit to enroll students under 6 month course.
